Our Y5 team in action.
On Thursday 17th January 2008 some of our Y5 children took part in the Gateshead Primary Schools Basketball Tournament. The competition was held at Whickham School and involved lots of schools from our area. Parkhead entered two teams in the tournament and both teams represented the school superbly. They showed great team spirit and a super attitude throughout the tournament. Our teams improved with every game they played due to their excellent sporting attitude - well done to all who took part!
