..... coffee, tea and cakes at our Easter coffee morning. The event was held in the KS2 hall and the ‘Guitar club’ performed some of their music on the stage. The children’s decorated eggs and bonnets were available to view and the school council sold ‘Easter cards’, decorated eggs and ‘choc crispy nests’ One of our Governors completed a run across Scotland (some 65 miles!) in April in support of our fundraising. The event was called the Highland fling. Please make any final sponsorship donations to the school office, the funds are being used to implement ideas to reduce our heat and light bills so that we can free up money saved from fuel to be directed back to teaching and learning resources instead!
