In Year 6, we have been Water Detectives in our topic lessons! This week, we designed and made some water collectors. Firstly, we walked around school and took photo's using digital cameras to spot some of the places where rain is collected. We then talked about what happens to the rain when it hits the ground. Then, we designed and made our water collectors using plastic bottles, funnels and scales. Look out for our water collectors around school - we'll be measuring how much rainfall we get soon!
