Parkhead took part in the Gateshead Primary Athletics Festival on Friday 25th June at Gateshead International Stadium. The day was a great success, with some of our Year 4, 5 and 6 children competing against 47 other Gateshead primary schools! We took part in events such as sprinting, long jump and javelin. All of our children did superbly, with many of them reaching semi-finals and finals for their events. More importantly than that though - everyone had lots of fun! Well done!
