This week has been 'Book Week 2010' at Parkhead! The theme for Book Week 2010 has been 'Stories from around the World'. Each year group chose a book to study from a worldwide destination. Our learning in literacy and topic this week has been based around our chosen books. In Year 5 the theme was 'Egypt'. As well as learning about an Egyptian story, the children produced some fantastic art. The photo's show children in 5L creating some superb Egyptian art using weaving.
