KS1 and KS2 – Christmas Craft Event

On Thursday the 4th of December parents and carers are invited into school to our Christmas Craft afternoon. This has been a very popular event in the past couple of years. However, due to this we have had some comments from parents about the number of people and lack of space.

This year we intend to organise the afternoon into two sessions. Each family who would like to attend will need to send the reply slip below into school and purchase a ticket for £1. The price of the ticket will contribute towards the cost of the resources to be used. Everyone will have something to take home at the end of the session.

Session 1 – 1.15 – 2.15pm

Session 2 – 2.30 – 3.30pm

The crafts will take place in the KS2 Hall.

If you have children in KS1 the gates will be open at 1pm so that you can collect your children by coming to the main KS1 door. Staff will be on hand to collect your child / children from the classroom and you can then bring them to the KS2 hall where someone will be at the door to let you and your children into the hall.

If you have KS2 children they will then join you in the hall. At the end of the session you can take your own children home but they must be signed out.  If you are intending to take another family member home you must have written permission from their parent.

Families who are allocated tickets for session 2 can collect their KS1 children from 2.20pm onwards as above and bring them to the KS1 Hall.

The Friends of Parkhead will be serving refreshments and selling a range of Christmas gifts during the afternoon.

Kind Regards

Paula Bailey

Head Teacher
