If your child is starting Reception in September we will be holding an induction event on the 11th June at 5.30pm in our KS2 building. On the 18th June 2012 between 1.30pm and 2.45pm you are welcome to bring your child to ‘stay and play’ to get familiar with the environment and staff. Senior staff will be on hand to talk to parents about your child starting school and answer any questions you may have. You will receive a call from school to arrange a home visit from our ‘Early Years’ staff next week and a confirmation letter and induction pack will follow. The home visits will take place on the 20th and 21st June. If you require an alternative date this can be arranged by appointment.

If your child turns 3 before the 31st August 2012 they can start at Parkhead Nursery in the Autumn term this year. We still have places for September. Please click on the link below to download a form to register for a place.

Once your child turns 3 years of age they can start nursery the first term after their 3rd birthday. So for example if your child turns 3 in the Summer term they can start in September. If you would like to register a place for our nursery please fill out the attached form and return to the main school office. You can arrange a visit by telephoning school on 0191 433 4146.
If your child is due to start Reception you must fill in a Gateshead council application pack. If you do not have one, our school keeps a small stock of forms that you may pick up from the main school office.
