If your child is starting Reception in September we will be holding an induction event on the 11th June at 5.30pm in our KS2 building. On the 18th June 2012 between 1.30pm and 2.45pm you are welcome to bring your child to ‘stay and play’ to get familiar with the environment and staff. Senior staff will be on hand to talk to parents about your child starting school and answer any questions you may have. You will receive a call from school to arrange a home visit from our ‘Early Years’ staff next week and a confirmation letter and induction pack will follow. The home visits will take place on the 20th and 21st June. If you require an alternative date this can be arranged by appointment.

If your child turns 3 before the 31st August 2012 they can start at Parkhead Nursery in the Autumn term this year. We still have places for September. Please click on the link below to download a form to register for a place.

Children in reception joined their friends in Year 1 and 2 for a fun filled day of activities. We were extremely lucky with the weather as the sun shone all day and the children and staff had a wonderful time taking part in a carousel of activities including a woodland adventure, messy play, pavement art and, of course, the bouncy castle. Nursery didn't miss out on the fun - they had their own bouncy castle and enjoyed the extra special snack on offer, delicious fruit smoothies!

This year's nursery graduates have been practising their ceremony this morning in preparation for this afternoon's graduation. Today is their last day at school!
