M Wilson If your child is starting Reception in September we will be holding an induction event on the 11th June at 5.30pm in our KS2 building. On the 18th June 2012 between 1.30pm and 2.45pm you are welcome to bring your child to ‘stay and play’ to get familiar with the environment and staff. Senior staff will be on hand to talk to parents about your child starting school and answer any questions you may have. You will receive a call from school to arrange a home visit from our ‘Early Years’ staff next week and a confirmation letter and induction pack will follow. The home visits will take place on the 20th and 21st June. You will need to fill in a holiday form and submit this to the school office. If your child’s attendance is already below 95% this cannot be authorised and will be recorded as unauthorised absence. In most circumstances holidays are authorised to a maximum of ten days per year but please try and minimise this wherever possible.
