We used our place value skills to make our own three digit numbers. We then rolled dice to add and subtract ones. We worked in teams of two to see which team could come up with the most calculations.

3/4 J have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Stone Age so far this term and after our visit to Segedunum we couldn’t wait to find out more.

We were so shocked to find out that some cave paintings from the Stone Age still exist today and decided to draw some of the animals and figures that were shown inside the caves.

After planning our designs we began making our very own cave painting. First, we used paint to create a cave and added sand to create the rough texture of a cave. After our paintings had dried, we began to draw using oil pastels.

We had a fantastic time designing our cave paintings and look forward to learning more about this period of time.
