Y3/4 T had a fantastic time on their trip to Segedunum. We enjoyed taking part in a pottery workshop where we created our own pinch pots out of clay and we had a great time learning about life in the Stone and Bronze Age. We had a go at making tipi style shelters with sticks, making fire, planting seeds and crushing grain to extract the flour to create a simple dough. We also asked lots of interesting questions and suggested ideas as we investigated replica artifacts and prehistoric tools.

Y3/4T are really enjoying learning about the Stone Age. During our Forest School sessions, we have made mud paint using natural colours to create our own cave paintings and we added detail with charcoal. We investigated the drawings found on caves to help us create our own designs.
