Physical activity

It is still a huge priority to make sure our children are staying active and healthy during this difficult time. Physical activity can really support the health and wellbeing of children and ourselves, giving us some feel good hormones and escape time from this ongoing situation. We are continuing to promote physical activities through our remote learning, along with ideas on Facebook and events that we are taking part in virtually. The Gateshead School Sports Partnership are doing an excellent job at providing their schools with ideas and virtual challenges to engage children in physical activity.

The #INSPIRE skipping challenge is a project we have been involved in through the Gateshead SSP which has provided video clips of a variety of skipping skills to learn. You can find all of these videos on our Facebook page.
