Autumn Term

Our Saplings have made a fantastic start to the school year and we’ve loved seeing their smiling faces every morning as they come into school. We’ve spent time in our outdoor learning area spotting all of the changes that autumn brings, we’ve been practicing subitising (Spotting small amounts without needing to count them) in Maths and we’ve made a fabulous start to phonics.

We’ve also thoroughly enjoyed our spooky Halloween craft sessions and we loved dressing up as different scientists during Science Week; we even had a visit from a mystery zoologist during a scientific story time!

We’re so pleased that everybody has settled in to school life so beautifully and we can’t wait to see what next half term has in store for us.
