Anti-Bullying Week

Next week is national Anti-Bullying Week - this year's theme is 'Reach Out'.

The week will begin with Odd Socks Day.  On Monday, children can come to school wearing odd socks to support the uniqueness of individuals and celebrate the diversity within our school community.

Throughout the week, children will be taking part in various activities and on Wednesday, we will be holding a coffee afternoon for parents/carers.  You are welcome to pop along to the KS2 hall on Wednesday 16 November from 2.30 – 3.00pm where Mrs Mordue, Mrs Miller and our anti-bullying ambassadors will share with you information about online safety and our journey so far towards gaining the Rainbow Flag Award.  We hope you are able to come along.

To summarise the week, we will be holding a whole school celebration assembly on Friday 18 November, which will be a chance for the children to showcase what they have been learning throughout the week with the rest of the school.

We will also be sending out a ‘Parent Pack’ full of ideas of activities you could do with your child at home and we look forward to sharing what we have been up with you at home via our school Facebook page.
