Natural History Society of Northumbria visiting Year 3 Maple class

Year 3 have enjoyed a lovely afternoon with Julie from the Natural History Society of Northumbria. Maple class have been learning about the environment and the issues associated with it such as global warming and plastic pollution. After spending some time in our beautiful school grounds, the children were tasked with appreciating nature using their senses. They then made some art work based on nature and finally, made pledges on how they were going to help nature and the environment.
