It has been a fantastic week of all things science at Parkhead! The children across school have been taking part in lots of workshops and meeting different visitors who have a career linked to science. The children have thoroughly enjoyed asking lots of questions and being involved in such hands on, practical activities. Check out our school’s Facebook page to see what we have been getting up to! 

We have an array of scientists in school today ….. from engineers to doctors to volcanologists! The children have made a superb effort with their costumes and they have been so keen to share what their ‘scientist’ does within their daily job role with the other children. It is great to hear that so many children are now aspiring to be scientists in the future.
